Rally Point is a free tool for organising padel games in Phuket. It has no ads, and we don’t sell or rent your information to anyone. This page explains what we keep, why, and what you can do about it.

Rally Point is run by Tim Chang in Phuket, Thailand, who is responsible for your information under Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). Contact: hello@rallypointpadel.app.

What we keep

• Your account: your email address and how you sign in (a code by email, or Google). If you use Google, we receive your name and email from Google and nothing else.
• Your profile: first name, surname, gender (for men’s and women’s games), level and how it was set, home club, and a photo if you add one.
• Private details, if you add them: date of birth, WhatsApp and Telegram. These are not shown on your public profile.
• What you do in the app: games you create, join or ask to join, the clubs you follow, scores you enter or confirm, ratings you give other players, and reports you make.
• Technical records: a sign-in cookie that keeps you signed in, and standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) kept by our hosting providers for security. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies.

What other people can see

Anyone using Rally Point, including people browsing without an account, can see your first name and surname initial (for example “Tim C”), your photo, your level, and the games you’re in. Results of games are shown to players unless the host makes them private. Ratings are anonymous: nobody sees who rated whom, only the combined result. Your email, surname, date of birth and contact details are never shown publicly.

Why we use it

• To run the app: sign you in, show games, let hosts accept players, record results and suggest levels.
• To send you sign-in codes and, once they exist, the game updates you choose to receive.
• To keep the community safe: dealing with reports and removing people who break the terms.

We rely on providing the service you signed up for, and on our legitimate interest in keeping it safe. We don’t use your information for anything else.

Who helps us run it

Your information is stored and processed by these services on our behalf, some of them outside Thailand:

• Supabase: database and sign-in (servers in Singapore).
• Vercel: hosts the website.
• Resend: sends sign-in emails and, if you keep them on, calendar invites for games you’re in (servers in Japan).
• Google: only if you choose “Continue with Google”.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while you have an account. When you delete your account we remove your profile and private details within 30 days. Results of games you played with others stay, shown as “Former player”, so other players’ records still add up.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, download or delete your information, object to how we use it, or withdraw your consent. Email hello@rallypointpadel.app and we’ll reply within 30 days. You can also complain to Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Committee.

Age

Rally Point is for adults. You must be 18 or older to create an account.

Changes

If we change this policy we’ll update this page and the date at the top, and tell you in the app if the change is significant.
